Anval RFS Series Rotary Floating Shoe Valves — Tough, Ceramic-Embedded [RFSX +ATEX]
[drop through]
The metering solution for high-wear, high-temperature and high-pressure applications. The RFS Series delivers unmatched performance as an airlock in high-wearing duties, lasting up to four times longer than conventional rotary valves and offering exceptional value on abrasive products such as alumina, iron ore, cement, coal, fly ash and mineral sands.
100% positive sealing: a "floating shoe" slides tightly into the main body top-port flange and rides onto the rotor by gravity, forming a mechanical seal with a clearance measured in microns.
Maintenance without shutdown: the sacrificial, hardened SG-iron adjustable shoe handles up to 10 mm of wear and can be adjusted externally while in operation to keep that micron-level clearance at all times.
Long service life: achieved through ceramic-embedded rotor ends on all leading surfaces of the blades and end plates — designed to need very little maintenance over its service life.
Independently proven: rigorous wear tests by the University of Western Australia's School of Mechanical Engineering on the ceramic / spheroidal-graphite-iron interface concluded that RFS valves can transport even the most aggressive products and still have a lifecycle of years instead of months.
Construction & sizes: single-piece cast iron, opening sizes from 250 mm to 750 mm, robust, rigid and durable, and customizable to specific application requirements.
Sealing: labyrinth seals ensure perfect sealing of the rotating shaft and zero leakage through the shaft ends — effective even with highly abrasive products and under high pressure.
Compliance: CE marked and in compliance with applicable global health & safety requirements.

Anval RSC Series Self-Cleaning Dual Rotary Valves — For Non-Free-Flowing Solids [drop through]
Self-cleaning dual rotary valves built to handle sticky, viscous, slow or non-free-flowing bulk solids. Where most conventional valves can't cope with sticky, viscous and non-flowing materials, the RSC Series' dual-rotor design is well suited to any high-moisture product application.
Self-cleaning dual-rotor action: a secondary rotor scrapes and mechanically empties the pockets of the primary rotor, with the two rotor movements synchronised — smoothing material flow, increasing operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
Drive: a geared motor drives the primary rotor through the shaft, while the secondary rotor runs off a synchronised chain transmission for an easy wiping action that keeps material flowing.
Construction: complete cast construction with internal surfaces machined to high precision; the primary rotor comes with a scalloped type as standard.
Ideal materials: animal by-products, clay, starch, active ingredients, fertiliser, pulp, fibres, sludge, salt and similar high-moisture products.
Sealing & air-lock: labyrinth seals ensure perfect sealing of the rotating shaft and zero leakage through the shaft ends — effective even with highly abrasive products and under high pressure — with close radial and axial clearances for superior air-locking.
Compliance: CE marked and designed in compliance with all applicable Machinery Directive requirements.

Anval RE Series Easy-Clean Rotary Airlock Valves — For Hygienic Dairy Applications [drop through]

The RE Series suits contamination-sensitive duties that require frequent disassembly and cleaning, and is specifically designed for hygienic dairy, food and chemical applications.
Tool-less cleaning: internal components can be safely removed as a single piece without tools for quick, easy cleaning — eliminating the time-consuming opening and reassembly steps of a long maintenance routine.
Automatic re-engagement: on reassembly, the rotor engages automatically with no complex adjustments and retains the original clearance values.
Hygienic construction: fully cast single-piece stainless steel, made by the lost-wax process, with mirror-finish internals machined to high precision to resist corrosion, rust and staining, and free of dead spots to keep material uncontaminated.
Easier cleaning / efficiency: the mirror-finish internals make cleaning easier and more effective, improving operational efficiency when handling sticky, cloggy and hygroscopic products.
Sealing: labyrinth seals ensure perfect sealing of the rotating shaft and zero leakage through the shaft ends — effective even with highly abrasive products and under high pressure.
Sizes & precision: opening sizes from 150 mm to 300 mm with circular flanges, and rotors manufactured to a close radial and axial clearance of 0.20 mm (max).
Compliance: CE marked and designed in compliance with applicable global health & safety requirements.
