Pyrolysis is a thermal process that transforms your waste into useful resources. Materials such as biomass, plastics, tyres or sludge are heated in the absence of oxygen and broken down into valuable products such as fuels or oils, syngas and biochar. Unlike burning, pyrolysis reduces harmful emissions and offers a sustainable way to recover energy from waste.

Traditional Pyrolysis is capable of pyrolysing to temperatures of up to 550°C whereas we can pyrolyse at temperatures of up to 950°C. We have patent pending over the High Temperature Pyrolysis Process as well as holding several patents over parts of the process.

High Temperature Pyrolysis - HTP

Our technology is applicable to any available organic feedstocks: biomass, farm wastes, municipal wastes, plastics, waste water sludge and industrial by-products.

  • Feed Reception Subsystem receive and convey feed material and maintain the air-lock condition.
  • HTP Kiln Subsystem perform high temperature pyrolysis process where biomass convert to raw syngas and char in an oxygen free environment.
  • Solid Product Handling Subsystem cool and collect the solid char and ash fraction from the HTP process for collection.
  • Gas Cleaning GCU Subsystem clean and scrub raw syngas in four stages to remove remaining tars and dust to ensure a clean emissions profile when re-fired in the kiln or consumed downstream.
  • Staged Air Cyclonic Thermal Oxidiser SACTO Subsystem burn excess syngas during start up and shut down.
  • Gas Engines generate electrical power from clean syngas for transmission and plant consumption.
